A packing checklist is a room-by-room plan that helps you organise what to pack, when to pack it and which boxes need special care. Include essentials such as boxes, tape, labels, markers, bubble wrap, cleaning supplies and a separate bag for important documents, medicines, chargers and a few days of clothing. List each room, note fragile or valuable items, and label boxes with their contents and destination. Check whether your removalist has restrictions on hazardous items, and keep an inventory for valuable belongings or insurance purposes.
